About Our Wines
Dulzura Vineyard & Winery makes wines in very limited case quantities and are not available in stores. You may purchase these fine wines directly from us through our tasting room or by contacting us directly by email or phone. We can arrange to ship your selection directly to you where it is legal to do so. You are cordially invited to visit us for a tasting!

ESTATE REDS
Known for our distinctly full-bodied red wines, we produce an approachable, hearty Cabernet Sauvignon, a somewhat gentler Cabernet Franc, a robust and spicy Zinfandel, and a fruit-forward Malbec. All come from Estate Grown grapes and are vinted and bottled at our winery in Dulzura. Typically our Estate red wines are unblended and un-fined, and minimally filtered. Our Cabernet also produces a wonderful whole-cluster pressed Vin Gris Rosé.

ESTATE WHITES
Unusual among regional vineyards is our selection of estate white wines. We’re delighted that our original plantings of varied white varietals now allow us to craft a delightful selection of Estate white wines. From our award winning and elegant Viognier with stone fruit flavors, to a dry Riesling, ‘crisp and clean’, or our Chardonnay with subtle oak over tropical fruit flavors…we’re sure you’ll find a wine suiting your tastes here!

NON-ESTATE OFFERINGS
Other grapes sourced for our wines come exclusively from Valentina Vineyards, another Dulzura vineyard located across the highway from us. The vines here enjoy nearly identical terroir and climate, and so provide fruit uniquely comparable to our own. Currently on offer are a Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, and a Syrah vinted from Valentina Vineyard fruit.
About Our Vines
The original vineyard in Dulzura was planted in 2008, with 1,964 plants representing a mix of red and white varietals. In 2011, we extended the original vineyard by planting another 1,100 Cabernet Sauvignon, Viognier, and Chardonnay vines to increase our production of these excellent grapes. Between these vines and our neighbor Valentina Vineyards, there are currently nineteen different grape varietals being grown in the Dulzura Valley.
In 2019 Dulzura Vineyard & Winery and Valentina Vineyards became the first commercial growers in the United States to plant 100 examples of European grape varietal called ‘Debit’. Native to the Dalmatian coastal region of Croatia, Debit is a white varietal with a storied history dating back hundreds of years in Europe. The Debit grapes produce an aromatic, versatile wine that can be made in both still and sparkling styles. We’re looking forward to the first production of wine from these unique grapes!
